This competition is open to school children from grade 6 to A/L classes (age limit 12-19 years). There can be maximum of 3 members in a team. This competition will be comprised of 2 levels as initial and final level. At the initial level, students are supposed to give novel, creative ideas on how AI can be applied to one of their day-to-day works. Teams can use any mode of presentation to present their idea. The initial round will be held virtually (via Microsoft Teams).

From this initial stage, the top 5 teams will be selected for the final round. In the final round, selected groups are supposed to demonstrate a prototype regarding their proposed idea. The final round will be in SLIIT Malabe campus premises. The winners will receive valuable cash prices and trophy plagues based on decisions made by a panel of judges.

Team Size: Three members (3) Eligibility:  This competition is open to school children from grade 6 to A/L classes (age limit 12-19 years). Each school must finalize ONE team of THREE members at the initial level of the competition. Technologies/ Syllabus: Machine Learning Deep Learning Natural Language Processing Rules and Regulations:
  • A Team can have maximum THREE members.
  • The teacher-in-charge will be informed if the team is selected final round.
  • A winner and two runners-up team will be chosen by a panel of judges in the final round.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
Number of Rounds : The competition will be held in 2 rounds: Initial (round 1), Final (round 2)
  • Round 1: All registered Teams will be eligible
  • Round 2: Top 5 teas will be selected from round 1
