Turn Your AI Idea Into A Real Solution
This competition is open to school students from Grade 6 to A/L, ages 12 to 19. Teams can propose and develop any mobile or web-based solution that addresses a real problem faced in day-to-day life using AI technology.
The competition will be conducted in two stages: an initial online round and a final physical round. Winners will be selected by a panel of judges and will receive valuable cash prizes and trophy plaques.
Project Scope
Propose and develop an AI-based application or system that solves a practical problem in school life, society, daily activities, communication, education, environment, health, safety, or any meaningful area.

The winner and two runners-up teams will be selected by the final round judging panel.

Eligibility
Open to school children from Grade 6 to A/L classes. Age limit: 12 to 19 years.
Team Size
Each school must finalize one team of three members at the initial level. A team can have a maximum of three members.
Competition Format
The competition will be held in two rounds: Initial Round online and Final Round physical.
From Idea To Final Prototype
Registered teams will first submit their idea and development process online. Selected teams will then present their final product or prototype in front of judges.
Initial Round
In the first round, the idea, system components, and development process will be evaluated through a recorded video submission. If any implementation is already done, it may also be demonstrated in the video.
Final Round
Top five teams selected from Round 1 must demonstrate or present their final product or prototype in front of the judge panel.

Important Guidelines
- A team can have a maximum of three members.
- The teacher-in-charge will be informed if the team is selected for the final round.
- A winner and two runners-up teams will be chosen by a panel of judges in the final round.
- The judges’ decision is final.
- Round 1 will be conducted online through recorded video submission.
- Round 2 will be conducted physically at SLIIT, New Kandy Road, Malabe.
- Top five teams will be selected from Round 1 for the final round.
