As part of SLIIT CodeFest 2024, CodeXtream Contest is a global event where the school’s students Hack-a-Solution for today’s most vital problem by working as a team. This is a 100% free contest. This competition contains two stages, and ten contesting groups will be selected from the first stage to move to the final stage. At the final stage, three groups with the best solution will be awarded first, second and third cash prizes.

Team Size:
Up to 4 members from the same school. Each team should have an academic coach/mentor from the same school.


  • The competition is open to school students from Grade 6 to Grade 13. Age limit from 12 years to 18 years old.
  • There can be multiple groups from the same school, but a student cannot represent multiple groups.


  • Git for collaborative work.
  • Node.js or Express for backend development.
  • JavaScript and EJS for front-end development.
  • NPM for build and serve tasks.
  • SQL for working with relational databases.

Rules and Regulations:

  • A Team can have a maximum of FOUR members.
  • Team members can work together to code for a better solution.
  • A winner and two runners-up team will be chosen by a panel of judges.
  • The judges’ decision is final.
  • The teacher-in-charge will be informed if the team is selected for the final round.

Number of Rounds:

  • The competition comprises a single round.
  • There will be a test run one month prior to the main round.
