As part of SLIIT Codefest, Coding Primary Competition is an effort to empower primary school studentsβ coding skills to a next level. Students will explore creativity, teamwork, logic, and problem solving through application design.
The winners will receive valuable cash prizes and trophy plaques based on decisions made by a panel of judges.

Eligible Students
The competition is open for primary school students from Grade 1 to Grade 5.
School Teams
Each school can finalize up to 4 teams at the initial level of the competition.
Team Size
Each team can consist of a maximum of FOUR members.
Creative Thinking
Teams should design an application that gives smart solutions for everyday school life.
Round 1
The first round of the competition will be conducted online.
Round 2
The final round will be conducted as a physical round.

Teams can design creative applications under the topic βSmart Solutions for School Lifeβ. These ideas are not limited to the examples below.
Two rounds to find the best young innovators
Online Round
Teams submit and present their smart school-life solution online.
Physical Final Round
The top 5 teams will be selected for the final physical round.
Awards
A winner, two runners-up, and two merit award teams will be selected.
Judging & Final Selection
A winner and two runners-up teams will be chosen by a panel of judges. The remaining two teams will be considered as Merit Awards.
The judgesβ decision is final. The teacher-in-charge will be informed if the team is selected for the final round.
