A creative coding challenge for Grade 6 to Grade 10 students to design meaningful digital applications under the theme “Smart Solutions for School Life”. Students will compete through two exciting rounds, showcase their ideas, and bring innovative school-life solutions to life.

The Junior Coding Contest encourages young innovators to identify real school-life problems and create smart digital solutions through teamwork, creativity, and coding.
Eligible Grades
Open for school students from Grade 6 to Grade 10.
Team Size
Each team can have a maximum of FOUR members.
Per School
Each school can finalize up to 4 teams at the initial level.
Main Theme
Teams must design an application for “Smart Solutions for School Life”.
Theme: Smart Solutions for School Life
Students are expected to develop an application that can improve school life using smart, creative, and practical digital ideas. The solution can focus on learning, safety, communication, productivity, school services, student wellbeing, or any meaningful school-related challenge.
Two Levels of Challenge
The contest begins online and concludes with a physical final round where selected finalists compete for the winning positions.
Round 1 - Online
Teams can submit or present their application idea and solution for evaluation using the form below. Please download and follow the video uploading instructions before submitting.
Round 2 - Physical
Finalists compete in the final round physically. A winner and two runners-up will be selected by the judging panel.
Rewards for Top Innovators
The winning teams will receive valuable cash prizes and recognition based on the decisions made by the panel of judges.
The remaining two finalist teams will be awarded as Merit Award Winners.
Important Competition Details
The competition is open for secondary school students from Grade 6 to Grade 10.
Each school can finalize up to 4 teams at the initial level of the competition.
A team can have a maximum of FOUR members.
Teams must design an application for the topic “Smart Solutions for School Life”.
A winner and two runners-up will be chosen by a panel of judges.
The remaining two finalist teams will be considered for Merit Awards.
The judges’ decision is final.
The teacher-in-charge will be informed if the team is selected for the final round.
