NetCom is organized by the Department of Computer Systems Engineering in collaboration with the Computer Systems and Network Engineering Student Community.
The competition gives students an opportunity to showcase their networking and cloud computing abilities while gaining visibility among talent recruiters in the rapidly growing ICT and networking field.
NetCom uses Cisco web technologies to create an interactive networking skills contest that enhances classroom learning, connects students from across the country and promotes further technology education and training.

Undergraduates Only
The contest is open only to undergraduate students of Sri Lanka.
Group Competition
Each participating group can consist of a maximum of three members.
Proof Required
Participants must provide proof of enrolment such as a valid student ID or official university verification letter.
Winner Selection
The winner will be selected on the final competition day and awarded during the CODEFEST closing ceremony.
Judge Decision
If multiple teams receive identical marks, the judges will determine whether those teams proceed to the next round.
Technical Scope
The competition includes online assessments and simulation activities using Cisco devices and Linux environments.
