ReviveNation is a tertiary-level competition introduced as part of Codefest 2025, designed to promote digital transformation in Sri Lanka. Organized in collaboration with the Sri Lankan Ministry of Digital Economy, the initiative challenges university students to address real world issues within the public sector. Participants will form teams of four to analyze a Sri Lanka-specific case study issued by the Ministry, identify key problems, propose digital solutions, and develop and present functional prototypes. ReviveNation aims to bridge the gap between academic knowledge and practical application by engaging students in nationally significant challenges. The competition serves as a mutually beneficial platform— offering students hands-on experience and exposure, while providing the government with innovative ideas to drive digital transformation
